Bill
Allison
Bill Allison’s mission in life is to have fun making those
around him wildly successful! He has strategically invested most
of his adult life in students. He has served as a YMCA staff member
and a juvenile detention center. He has served as a youth pastor
and a public high school English teacher.
Bill’s communication style is high energy, high interaction,
and high impact—with a healthy combination of humor and biblical
truth. Bill’s passion is to impact students, train volunteers,
and multiply leaders through speaking, teaching, training, coaching,
and writing.
He is the founder and director of Cadre (kah-dray)
International, a speaking and training ministry that seeks to
encourage, equip, and energize volunteer church leaders, teachers,
and youth workers by bringing them interactive, FUN, Bible-based
training. While Cadre Ministries will bring training to any size
church, its special concern is the church with one pastor (and many
volunteer leaders).
Bill is the author of Grow, Minister, and Lead: Ten Lifelines for
Volunteer Leaders in the Church, Time Management for Painfully Pooped
Out People: Ten Biblical Principles for Taking Control of Your Life
and Time, and, each month through his web site at www.cadreministries.com,
publishes the Cadre Connection—a FREE electronic newsletter
for volunteer leader and teachers in the church.
Bill is a graduate of New Tribes Bible Institute, Illinois Valley
Community College, Illinois State University, and holds a Master’s
Degree in Teaching and Leadership from Saint Xavier University.
Bill is VERY happily married and has six small children—so
far. (Some people work in youth ministry—others of us LIVE
in a youth ministry!)
